The Berg Neighbourhood Watch officially elected their committee for the next five years during a meeting at the NG Kerk Quellerina on September 5.
According to Florida CPF chairperson Farhaad Sardiwalla, the committee is made up of well-known and respected members of the community, and he has every confidence that they will undertake all their tasks successfully.
“We can always count on the members of The Berg Neighbourhood Watch to help keep our neighbourhoods safe. They are regulars at all our patrols and operations, and we look forward to work with them for the good of our neighbourhoods.”
Newly elected chairperson Hennie Arlow thanked residents for their participation in the election and promised to build on the good work that the neighbourhood watch has done.
“We know it is a challenge, but we are ready for it. As residents, we are all working toward the same goal, and I look forward to making my area a better place.”
