A fun family day

The Discovery Community Forum hosts families and friends for a fun day to set the mood for spring.

The Discovery Community Forum (DCF) hosted a family fun day at the Len Rutter train park to create a fun and intimate environment for families in preparation for spring.

The market, which took place on August 31, mostly presented handmade arts, crafts, and other home goods, and according to Marion Beeston, a public relations officer for DCF, they wanted to keep the theme of family and give families a lovely opportunity to shop together for house essentials.

Even though the morning started with a cold breeze, families still enjoyed the day through free train rides, jumping castles, and delicious food and drinks.

“We had 53 stalls in total, and this is our sixth year hosting this kind of event, and to us, it is just a day to bring everyone together and to have fun,” Marion said.
