Church celebrates women
Horison Gesinskerk invited women for an intimate prayerful and graceful session on Women's Day.
To celebrate and commemorate Women’s Day, the Horison Gesinskerk warmly hosted a gathering of women for a heartfelt introspection and celebration.
This day was organised by Angeline Gouws who is a dedicated member of the church and the event provided a sacred space for healing, sharing, reflection, connection and testimonies for women.
Guest speakers such as Lindie Liebenberg, a courageous breast cancer survivor, shared her inspiring journey and valuable insights with the women. With vulnerability and strength, she delved deep into her personal experiences, offering practical tips and words of encouragement.
Additionally, Donna Bothma from Healing Grace also shared her journey about healing oils and ointment while Tania Botha-Strauss blessed the women with music and the Word of God.
“This event was about celebrating and empowering women while we share the Word of God,” said Angeline.
As the day’s proceeding came to a gentle close, the women gathered around the table for a delightful lunch, ranging from warm coffee to an assortment of sweet and savoury snacks.
