The Northridge Ladies 7 Circle team hosted a Winter Festival on July 27.
According to treasurer Sue-Mari Warren, they wanted to create awareness for Place a Pup while also raising funds and gathering more dog food.
The team was joined by other neighbouring teams which included Round Tables, Ladies Circles, vendors, a DJ and Place a Pup.
“We had a group of kids selling popcorn for the day so that they could go on a church retreat,” said Sue-Mari.
The teams ended the day with a well-known dance, and everyone joined in and enjoyed it.
“Everyone had fun, and we thank everyone who made contributions to this important event,” she added.
