Woolly delights warm little hearts

Wilro Park Lions receives 170 scarves and 170 beanies for their winter projects.

As the cold weather persists, the Wilro Park Lions are embarking on a heartwarming winter project aimed at supporting those who are less fortunate.

The Share the Warmth project involves Winter Warriors from the club who are all eager to make a warm difference in the lives of others.

Recently, they received 170 beanies and 170 scarves from an organisation called Kind Folk in Lanseria. These woolly items were distributed to bundles of joy at one of the early childhood development centres in Zandspruit.

Sandy van Heerden, a dedicated executive of the Wilro Park Lions, says they are passionate about this special cause that resonates deeply with the organisation. With a heart for serving others, the Wilro Park Lions have for many years committed themselves to making a positive impact in their community and beyond.

She is calling all members of the community who would like to assist and change lives too, to give them a call on 083 564 6388.
