Renowned and award-winning filmmaker Enver Samuel from EMS Productions will be featuring Pule’s life in a recent series by author David Klatzowz, Looking into Darkness, that airs on SABC 3.

Produced and directed by Samuel, he believes the series and Pule’s story are relevant and compelling and will remarkably tell her legacy, especially with femicide and gender-based violence (GBV) on the increase in South Africa.

“There have been a plethora of programmes on Pule in the past; this one will stand out because we have the full co-operation of her family and the foundation named after her to tell her tragic story. The series is very relevant with the scourge of GBV and femicide on the increase,” Samuel said.
