Academic excellence celebrated

IIE MSA graduates officially received qualifications during a prestigious ceremony.

Hard work, consistency and dedication came to a culmination as the Class of 2023 IIE MSA students’ degrees were recently conferred.

The degrees were conferred by Dr Reza Hosseini, Deputy Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies, Dr Willy Engelbrecht, Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies, and Taryn Migatchev, Deputy Registrar – Operations and Certification at a prestigious ceremony held at the Mosaïek Theatre in the north of Johannesburg.

“We are pleased to announce that at IIE MSA’s graduation, 488 students graduated and 168 students earned invitations to the prestigious Golden Key Honour Society,” says IIE MSA campus head André Lubbe.

“The top three IIE Bachelor of Laws [LLB] were also awarded the Honour Medal by The PH Group, South Africa’s largest legal network comprising independent law firms throughout South Africa.

“This recognition celebrates their exceptional achievement of graduating cum laude, reflecting their dedication and hard work.”

Top Achiever Leani Beukes says, “It was a difficult journey; a lot of long hours and tears and I would not have been able to be where I am today without my family’s support.”

According to the public relations and event co-ordinator for IIE MSA Makupa Madia, the graduation ceremony was a testament to the IIE MSA’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive academic environment which prepares students for success in a rapidly changing world.

“As IIE MSA bids farewell to yet another exceptional group of graduates, the campus looks forward to witnessing the future successes and contributions of its Alumni.”
