TikTok sensation advises prospective students
Exam preparation guru and social media sensation Miss Angler hosted a workshop during IIE MSA's recent Open Day.
Prospective students and their parents were treated to an array of exciting activities during IIE MSA’s recent Open Day.
Activities included campus tours and one-on-one sessions with various academic experts and student advisors, which provided detailed insight into every aspect of becoming a student at the tertiary institution.
Prospective students were encouraged to carefully consider, and make informed decisions regarding their tertiary educational journeys and intended career paths.
In addition, the university’s Student Experience Team co-ordinated live entertainment, sports games, and giveaways.
The university collaborated with the highly regarded exam preparation expert to millions of her TikTok followers, Miss Angler, who hosted an exam preparation workshop on the day.
The prospective students engaged with her as she shared her wealth of knowledge with them.
“I am so excited to meet Miss Angler on campus,” says Nkanyezi Dlamini, a Grade 11 learner at The King’s School West Rand.
“She gave us confidence to prepare well for our final exams. The biggest tip I learnt from her talk was not to infer the marker and use the ‘2357’ study method.
“The Open Day was informative, and I had so much fun on campus. I am looking forward to tertiary life.”
