Irish Rock hosts Cansa Shavathon

Irish Rock Radiokop and the Women's Club of Irish Rock hosted a successful Cansa Shavathon event on March 2.

The Irish Rock Radiokop hosted a successful Cansa Shavathon event on March 2.

Residents came out in droves to enjoy a good meal, and cold drinks, to support a good cause.

Wherever one looked, people were sporting colourful and creative hairdos or close crops.

According to Irish Rock owner Theresa Fouché, it is encouraging to see such avid support from the local community for such a good cause.

“We are very proud to be able to support such a worthy cause, and even more proud to see the local community line up to do their bit. It was a wonderful day, and we managed to raise a good amount for Cansa,” Theresa concluded.
