Coffee Time Restaurant at Princess Crossing Shopping Centre hosted a first-time market on December 2 in a bid to promote small businesses.
Many stands were set up for businesses and crafters to showcase their creations and among these were that of beauty representatives, mosaic crafters, book writers and knitting creations.
Restaurant manager Christi Horne said, “I’ve noticed that there aren’t any flea markets left and decided to initiate this as a way to help small business grow – everyone who is here supports themselves financially, so I want to help people who do things for themselves,” she said and continued that she envisions to have these kinds of markets monthly.
