APK church hosts fundraiser market
This year’s fundraising event aims to raise funds to restore the church to its former glory.
It was a cool morning at Afrikaanse Protestante Kerk on November 4 as they hosted their annual fundraising event for the church.
The church, which has 60 congregants, took a knock during the Covid-19 pandemic and has suffered major loss and damage to its structural integrity, thus with this fundraiser, proceeds will go towards restoring the state of the beloved church.
Despite the weather being up and down, scores of people gathered to spend some time out and it was an exciting atmosphere with stalls available for refreshments and classic cars on display.
