Reality TV star aims to inspire the masses through her work

SterStatus reality star Samantha Thomson is passionate about empowering her community through her various charity initiatives and aims to leave a mark in the hearts of many.

SterStatus Miss Charity’s second runner-up aims to empower society through her various initiatives established through the reality television platform which held its season five finale on October 22.

Samantha Thompson, who is the mother of three boys, assumes the role of a wife and full-time executive assistant and accounts administrator and said that she entered the competition to gain confidence and exposure within the modelling industry.

“My dream has always been to be on TV since I was a little girl,” she said.

“SterStatus has helped me grow in so many ways. I entered the competition in March. We were a total of nine who had mentoring and training,” she said.

The programme saw over 300 entrants who were sifted down to a top 60 after the interviews, a top 20 after the photoshoots, then a top nine to which she managed to stick it out till for the title of second runner-up.

Samantha cited that she is passionate about charity work and aims to empower women through her projects to broaden their vision.

“I am over the moon with the excitement of winning the title. My head is already spinning – where do I start? Where do I give back to my community where my heart is?” she said in disbelief.

“So, my love and heart are with children and elderly. I want to reach out to the elderly in homes as they don’t get enough. And I want to reach out to schools with children that struggle with self-confidence. Children who feel less worthy. I want to spread my inspiration across to as many children as possible,” she said and mentioned that her goal with SterStatus 2023/ 24 is to work with sponsorships.

“I see myself being a brand ambassador for brands very soon,” she said hoping to be an inspiration to every person who feels less worthy.
