Call for matric farewell donations to help learners
Matric farewell is a big milestone for Grade 12 learners and while some want to attend, they simply do not have the means, hence Ogle Foundation calls on the NPOs, communities and businesses to donate much-needed items.
As matric farewell season looms, community members in and around Roodepoort want to give their children only the best, but due to financial struggles cannot do so.
According to Patty Ogle from the Ogle Foundation, there is a dire need for dresses and suits for learners to be able to celebrate this huge milestone and therefore calls on the community to donate anything that would aid in making their special day a reality.
Members of the community, NPOs, and businesses can step in by dropping off items at 20 Raath Street in Horison or contact Patty on 076 313 2247 as she could collect as well.
