Rietvallei Nursery holds fundraiser for new animal clinic in Muldersdrift

The market day saw many pet owners showing up to have their beloved furry friends vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.

Rietvallei Nursery hosted its first fundraiser market for Tales of Tails on September 24 where furry friends received much-needed vaccinations and owners had the opportunity to have them microchipped.

The market day aimed to raise funds for the new clinic that Tales of Tails are building in the Muldersdrift area where they will drive vaccinations, sterilise, and provide dental services to the community at better and more affordable prices in a bid to stop unwanted pregnant animals.

The day saw some 20 stalls.

Tales of Tails was there with their mobile van where they did the microchipping, vaccinations, and deworming.

The event raised more than R10 000 on the day and is said to be hosted every three months from now.
