Sterlig Nursery market in full swing again

The well-known market offered a variety of food and goods for one and all.

The well-known Sterlig Nursery market kicked off in high spirits again.

On September 2, many vendors came to support the market. Cherise Dreyer, part owner of the nursery, explained the market was started to support the community. With Covid they had many people coming to ask for job openings. They then decided to host the market to offer these people a chance to earn a living.

Emergency Control SA (ECSA) was also in attendance. Rudie de Bruin from ECSA explained they are a self-funded NPO helping out in the community. He continued that all the equipment they had was acquired with their own funding. This means they need funds to keep doing the work they do. They hope the stall at the nursery would help with raising funds in this regard.
