The EARTH Centre is opening its doors to families and animal lovers on Saturday, August 26.
The centre uses horses to provide therapy to disadvantaged disabled children and all proceeds will go to improving the experience of the animals, instructors and children. Vulture rehabilitation organisation Vulpro and Woodrock Animal Shelter will be in support ensuring a wide range of interests.
Toddlers get in free with everyone over three asked to pay R20 to frolic with the wildlife. The market and fun day will feature miniature donkey pats, meeting the horses, riding and vaulting displays. Children can enjoy a variety of games and ice cream and the adults can enjoy a host of food and coffee.
The stalls will be selling a host of clothing, arts and crafts, produce, Tupperware, plants, jewellery and accessories. The festivities begin at 9:00 until 16:00.
