Ogle Foundation hands sanitary towels to Princess High girls

The Ogle Foundation sponsored sanitary towels to high school girls as part of their Women's Day empowerment mission.

The Ogle Foundation handed over about 350 sanitary towels to about 300 girls in Grade Eight and Nine at Princess High School on August 7 as part of their empowerment project.

Patty Ogle, the founder of the foundation, said that as someone who grew up around somewhat impoverished communities, it is vital for organisations to always lend a helping hand to those in need, especially to future leaders.

The foundation which relies on sponsorships and donations has been operating since 2016 and has worked with many schools in and around Roodepoort. They identified Princess High School as one of the schools which are in dire need.

The girls were really happy as they received their sanitary towels.

The Grind Foundation, with which they have worked with for the last four years, sponsored them with sanitary towels and the female learners were very happy to have received these.
