Crawfordians honoured during awards ceremony

Learners' hard work and dedication get recognised during mid-year prize giving.

On July 31, the atmosphere in the Crawford Ruimsig hall was filled with joy and pride as the school gathered to honour the academic achievements of its Grade Seven learners.

According to Lindsay van Boven, the mid-year academic awards hold immense significance as they are based on a combination of the Grade Six end-of-year promotion mark (cumulative average) and the Grade Seven mid-year promotion mark, skillfully averaged.

“It is a true testament to the dedication of these learners,” she exclaimed.

Thirty-four learners were presented with certificates and scrolls, while their parents and fellow learners from the preparatory school applauded their tremendous efforts.
