Roodebeeck Primary learners show they care

Learners of Roodebeeck Primary reach out to victims of abuse.

Roodebeeck Primary School did its part in helping the community.

As part of their #roodebeeckcares project, which takes place every term, the school collected necessities for those who suffered abuse.

“The learners donated hygienic products and we made care packages. We dropped it off at the Witpoortjie Clinic, Roodepoort Police Station, Krugersdorp Police Station as well as the welfare in Krugersdorp,” said Larushelle Roets from Roodebeeck Primary.

“Today the children from donated care packages for victims of crime to the Honeydew Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit. The children all wrote a personal message to comfort the victims of crime,” added Captain Jeff Phora, corporate communications officer for the police’s Johannesburg District.
