Security official finds motorcyclist lying in the road after hit and run

On May 22, BCI Security responded to an accident on Sterretjie Street in Wilgeheuwel.

Dewald Fourie from BCI Security explained he was on his way to work when he saw a motorcycle laying on the left side of the road and the driver lying on his stomach not far from there. He then assisted by talking to the patient and keeping him calm, while waiting on ER24, upon their arrival he assisted with loading him on the stretcher and into the ambulance, after which the driver was taken to Helen Joseph Hospital.

Fourie stated according to an eyewitness the motorcyclist was exiting The Falls Lifestyle Estate when a car coming from The Links complex hit him and drove off, unfortunately, they do not know what car it was.
