Two more cars in need of repair after crash at notorious crossing
How many more accidents have to occur before action is taken?
The notorious intersection between General Pienaar Avenue and Ham Street was the site of yet another accident scene.
A silver Toyota Corolla crossing Ham Street on the morning of May 3 crashed into a Mercedes-Benz driving along General Pienaar Avenue. The driver claimed he was unable to see the Mercedes.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

The Record contacted Lucia Mhlanga from Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) for comment, however, none has been received.
Despite numerous attempts to contact JRA, no progress has been made toward making changes to the intersection to ensure road safety.
