Sub-acute clinic finally revamped!

Sr Lea Sub Acute was first opened by Sr Lea Gradwell 25 years ago.

Opened over two and a half decades ago, Sr Lea Sub Acute Medical Clinic has finally received a well-deserved facelift, under new management.
The Clinic reopened on April 21, with a capacity of 10 patients and already fully occupied.

Hospicare, who are the proud new owners of the facility, welcomed visitors from near and far to come and have a look at the revamp, meet the doctors and nurses on duty and enjoy a quick snack afterward.

Cornelia Germishuizen, along with some of her colleagues, gave guided tours of the clinic and excitedly shared her hopes to grow the clinic even more in the future. Sr Lea is the closest Sub Acute Medical Clinic in the West Rand.

“We saw the need for a sub-acute facility in the area and wanted to make a clear split between frail care centers and sub-acute clinics. The latter being for people of any age who need post-op home rehabilitation,” added Cornelia.
