Four suspects arrested for violating liquor control act.

Four suspects were arrested for violating the Liquor Control Act after the Roodepoort police held a blitz operation to check for compliance with the Act, which targeted different establishments that carried liquor.

Captain Juanita Yorke, Roodepoort police’s Corporate Communication official said, “The aforesaid suspects are expected to appear before the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court after being formally charged.

“Please do not drink and drive, obey the rules of the road, and respect other road users as you travel to and from your respective destinations safely. Safety starts with you. Act responsibly and arrive Alive!” Yorke concluded.
