Weltevreden Park Library hosted an open Easter egg hunt for young children on April 5. Librarian Gwyneth Perry primed the young hunt with her customary story time, reading two short rabbit-themed stories. Children straitened patiently to Little Rabbit and Benjamin Rabbit before releasing their energy on the rows of books.

Just over 20 parents brought almost 40 children to turn the otherwise tranquil center of stored knowledge into a frenzy of chocolate-hunting, egg-finding chaos.

Thrilled with having the library filled with youth, Gwyneth said, “We were very pleased with the turnout. So glad that it was so well attended and we hope everyone had a great experience. We hope to see everyone come back to the library to use our services.”
