The purpose of the handover was to honour and show appreciation to the educators at the school.
“This is a small token of appreciation for all the hardworking teachers who educate our children so that they can prosper in the future,” said Farhana Kamal, IIE MSA Student Wellness Manager. Farhana added that the plants were part of their Orientation Week’s activities during which students were encouraged to engage with and give back to the community.
Francis Maponyane, Deputy Principal at Masakhane Tswelopele Primary School, was thrilled with the donation, praising the gesture which signifies their shared growth and fertile partnership.
