Four armed men allegedly hijack lone occupant of black Mercedes-Benz

The public is urged to be on the lookout for a possibly stolen luxury sports car.

A man driving a high-end black Mercedes-Benz has allegedly been hijacked on the border between Little Falls and Wilgeheuwel. The incident is said to have occurred just after 13:30 this afternoon, Wednesday February 8, near the traffic circle at the intersection of Van Dalen Road South and Shearwater Road.

A family driving behind the alleged victim witnessed the incident and was pointed with a firearm by one of the four armed men who intercepted the black Mercedes-Benz. Based on the witness’s account, the four armed men jumped out of a dark silver Audi Q3 with two of the men bundling the driver of the luxury Mercedes-Benz into the passenger seat before driving off.

The armed men pulled in front of their victim near the traffic circle, with the Mercedes-Benz driven away down Sterretjie Street in the direction of Wilgeheuwel.
The witnesses claim to have contacted the police and while the police have not confirmed the incident, more information will be shared as soon as it is available.
