The King’s School Discovery mark 2022 with a 100% pass rate

Independent Examinations Board matrics score a 98.42% overall pass rate.

The King’s School Discovery’s Class of 2022 will be another vintage to savour.

The 18-member matric group achieved a 100% rate with a 94% Bachelors qualifying pass. The class will be proud of their five Independent Examination Board (IEB) distinctions, three for Life Orientation and two for Afrikaans class.

Principal Andre Bérrangé was naturally delighted with the results, saying “Despite the start of their FET phase coming during the Covid outbreak and the lockdown, they have exceeded expectations. We are so immensely proud in all of them and we know they will continue to go from strength to strength.”

Outgoing head boy and girl, Kayden Thomas and Nikita Wait, were in jubilant moods as they walked away from their school with results envelope in hand.

“I got the marks so I am over the moon,” said Kayden, who plans to study Investment Management in 2023.

Crediting the educators for their dedication, Nikita added, “Thank you for all your support and belief. You made sure these memories always stick with us”.
