Goodbye and thank you!

I will forever cherish the memories and relationships formed during my time as Record journalist.

It is said that sometimes, all good things must come to an end. While my journey at the Record had been one of growth, laughter and some tears, it’s hard to believe that my time at the paper is now at an end.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to tell the stories of our community and to have been a part of so many journeys. I would thus like to thank each individual, organisation, business and school who welcomed me with so much enthusiasm and entrusted me with their stories.

Furthermore I will remain thankful for the guidance and unconditional support of my editor and editorial colleagues – you truly are the very best!

What’s next for me, you might ask? Well, I am excited to be joining one of Caxton’s sister publications not too far from the Record. While joining another publication is surreal enough, what hits me harder is leaving the community – and with you, a part of me – behind.

I will forever cherish the memories and relationships formed during my time as Record journalist. Thank you for having me!
