School leader celebrates her teachers

"There is a strong sense of community and family on our campus. The teamwork, support, and respect for each other are truly commendable."

Carla Hercules, School Leader at Nova Pioneer Ruimsig writes:

On October 5, we celebrated World Teachers’ Day, and I am truly blessed to have a phenomenal teaching staff. Our teachers love their students and enjoy coming to school every day. There is a strong sense of community and family on our campus.

The teamwork, support and respect for each other are truly commendable. Our teachers are dedicated to achieving their academic goals by ensuring that no child is left behind.

They have gone above and beyond to support their students’ learning needs by implementing many innovative intervention strategies. They ensure that their lessons are fun and engaging, with just the right amount of rigor to encourage critical thinking. They are committed to establishing a loving and safe learning environment for their students. Each morning, they greet their students with a warm smile and a loving hug.

Our goal at Nova Pioneer Ruimsig this year is to foster healthy relationships with each other, students, and parents. We have proudly achieved this goal as we constantly receive positive feedback from parents and students. This year we also decided to organise many parent engagement events to bring parents back onto campus after Covid-19 restrictions. My teachers stepped up and happily project-managed and successfully organised a number of successful fun-filled events and fundraisers.

I am so proud of my teachers at Nova Pioneer Ruimsig. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment to their students inspire me each day. There is so much joy, happiness, and love on our campus. Our students love coming to school because of their amazing teachers.
