Ruimsig businessman shot dead near Hendrik Potgieter Road
Public asked not to share video circulating on social media groups.
One man has been shot dead on the corner of Handicap Road and Hendrik Potgeiter Road.
The successful businessman was travelling on Handicap Road just after 7:30 on Monday morning, October 17, where he is alleged to have encountered two gunmen.
Several shots were fired and the victim was able to continue driving up Handicap Road where his white Land Rover came to a stop a few hundred meters from Hendrik Potgieter Road.
Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. Handicap Road heading towards Ruimsig Athletics Stadium is closed and police are on scene with the family of the victim.
