What started in a suburban garage nearly two and a half decades ago has flourished into a multi-faceted educational service provider that not only offers higher education certification, but wholesale, retail, management, and public services training as well.

Attendees were given a tour of the facilities which featured both top and bottom floors of the Edutel building.

Edutel started at its current location with only the top floor of the building at its disposal, and Absa bank at the bottom, but now they have reimagined the whole building into a fully facilitated higher education institute equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms and a library where students can research academic topics on site.

The building also houses the company’s printing facility, which provides textbooks and educational materials to each student, as well as the educators. Financial offices, data processing rooms, and marketing facilities are all centralised and located at their Roodepoort branch, as well as additional offices catering to the registrar, markers and lecturers visiting the building.

Edutel looks forward to giving interested graduates pursuing an education degree, the opportunity to hone their skills, and prepare them for their future in the industry.
