Community members from near and far were invited to Frontline Church’s first-ever Spring Market held at their premises on September 2. The air was filled with the smell of flowers, freshly braaied boeries and gospel music – of course!
The market showcased the wonders of the Honeydew community, the creativity and comradery between residents were evident as stallers and browsers chatted and shared encouragements.
The church’s thrift store was set up so attendees could browse and buy items of clothing, books, or even accessories all in aid of the church’s ongoing projects to help those in need.
Members of the community from the local police and Community Policing Forum were given certificates of appreciation. All in all, it was a great day to go out with the family and enjoy the warm spring day.
