Roodepark Mr and Ms Valentine’s crowned

Red and white colours set the tone for the event, along with the red carpet where the contestants 'strutted their stuff' for the coveted titles of Mr and Miss Valentine 2023.

Roodepark School celebrated Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14 and the organisers made sure it was nothing short of an extravagant event.

The school planned a fun Valentine’s Day with a lot of activities and encourage all of their learners to participate in the fun.

Learners signed up with their register teachers to be part of the Mr and Miss Valentine’s Day competition while amazing prizes were up for grabs.

The Valentine’s Day programme kicked off with a cake sale, boerewors rolls, song requests and a photo booth.

Finally, as the curtains were about to draw to a close, the judges announced two names that were best suited for the Mr and Ms Valentine’s Day title.

The excited crowd cheered as Dylan Anderson and Ntombi Radebe took their first walk as Mr and Miss Valentine’s Day 2023.

On Wednesday, February 15 the school congratulated Matthew Laight who won the raffle prize.
