Three educators and one learner receive awards for academic excellence at the department awards event.

The Johannesburg West District was the third-best performing district national in the matric results for 2022.

Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel proudly congratulated the following staff members for being recognised for academic excellence at the Johannesburg West District Awards.

Nikita Bowes and Abdulmugheeth Petersen earned awards as the Top Performing Educators in English Home Language. Neo Chala was announced as the Top Performing Computer Application Technology (CAT) Educator in their district.

Head of High School, Belinda Gibson, congratulated their standout learners, saying ‘we are thrilled to announce that Jaden Manilall, Class of 2022, was announced the Top CAT learner in Johannesburg West District’.
