Michael shares a short message to the community and all who have played a part in a successful 2022:

“As another year comes to an end I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards all the security companies, resident associations and residents for their ongoing cooperation and support, as well as their help in the battle against crime.

“To all the police officers stationed at Honeydew Precinct, as well as the members of the other SAPS units, Law Enforcement Agencies and emergency services that have assisted us during the past year, thank you for your hard work and dedication.

“To all the residents who are travelling during the festive season, drive safely and please make arrangements for someone to take care of your house and ensure that all the necessary precautions have been taken so that your home does not look deserted.

“For those of you who are staying at home, do not become complacent because of the holidays. Ensure that you are still vigilant and that all security measures are in place. Do not let the holidays force you to become sluggish if you are staying at home. Make sure that you are still on guard and that all safety precautions are taken.

“We also want to thank our CPF Volunteer Patrollers and victim support for all the hard work and dedication they have shown in the past year. Lastly, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays for the season ahead!”
