Massive storm on route to Gauteng

Gauteng Weather issued an alert for a massive storm stretching from Botswana from KwaZulu–Natal rolling in over Gauteng.

Gauteng Weather posted an alert warning residents of a massive storm stretching from Botswana to KwaZulu–Natal and rolling in over Gauteng.

“The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for disruptive rainfall leading to localised flooding on Friday,” said Gauteng Weather on their Facebook page.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of informal/ formal settlements, low-lying roads and low-lying areas is expected along the escarpment today, October 28.

This is expected to affect Gauteng, the Highveld of Mpumalanga as well as along the escarpment and Lowveld of Limpopo.
