Great fun at Welties Soapbox Derby

Welties Primary enjoyed a day out in the sun.

Learners at Weltevreden Park Primary School couldn’t wait for their turn to participate in the Welties Soapbox Derby at the school on Friday, August 5.

Children were encouraged to wear their class colours to the derby, and every grade had the opportunity to race against classmates in teams of three as the rest of the grade cheered the competitors on while uplifting and energising music was played.

This was a great way to get the children motivated and ready to take on the last weeks of the school year.
