Roodepoort Northsider invites residents to show off their favourite hang-out spot in the suburbs they love

The people, places and faces of our suburbs are what make it worth living in.

As part of our increased commitment to showing off the places and faces of the people who keep the wheels of our suburbs moving, we are encouraging our community to show off those nearest and dearest. The Northsider is giving residents the opportunity to have photos published of themselves at their favourite coffee shop, restaurant, entertainment venue or social hotspot.

From Featherbrooke to Weltevreden Park, Honeydew to Little Falls, every suburb has a special corner or meaningful landmark and we want you to showcase the best of those areas. Take a photo of yourself with or without a friend, or even of someone you admire or who you believe deserves celebration, at your favourite venue and we will publish it in the Northsider’s print edition every Thursday. Add a brief description of where you are and why it is special to you and we will put it in the weekly paper.
