Mandela Day is around the corner, and if it has slipped your mind, you can still help out even if it’s in a small way.

The Ogle Foundation, for one, is in need of assistance from the community as they wish to enhance the lives of many in honour of Madiba Month.

This NPC is eager to pay tribute by visiting Fleurhof Primary School as part of their ongoing sanitary towel campaign, and feeding those in need at the park located on the corner of 5th Street and Paul Kruger Avenue.

However, they need your help. According to founder Patty Ogle they still need clothing, non-perishable foods and sanitary pads.

“We would like to encourage the community to go through their kitchens and closets and donate all unused items to these very worthy causes. Donate your time and pre-loved goods to make someone else’s life a little bit better,” Patty said.

The Ogle Foundation will be visiting the park on Friday, July 22 and the school on Monday, July 25. If you want to help or find out more you can contact Patty on 076 313 2247.
