Suspect nabbed in possession of drugs in Florida

Whilst searching, officers found a male Nigerian national in possession of drugs which included 12 zip-lock packets of crystal meth, 32 zip-lock packets of dagga, and a plastic bag of dagga.

On Sunday, June 24 whilst conducting crime-prevention patrols, JMPD officers noticed suspicious activity outside a house on 6th Avenue in Florida.

Officers went to the house for further observation and they were able to gain entry into the premises.

Whilst searching, officers found a male Nigerian national in possession of drugs which included 12 zip-lock packets of crystal meth, 32 zip-lock packets of dagga, and a plastic bag of dagga.

According to JMPD spokesperson Xolani Fihla, the JMPD K9 Unit arrested a man immediately and he was detained at Florida Police Station.
