Region C hosts billing resolution open day

City Power, Johanneburg Water and CoJ helping residents to resolve billing issues efficiently

Region C headquarters at 100 Christiaan de Wet Road held a billing resolution open day on April 23.

The campaign has been rolled out across the City of Johannesburg in an attempt to reach customers with long-standing account issues or billing queries. Ratepayers from Region C, which covers Roodepoort and parts of Randburg, were invited to the specially erected tent to speak with officials to resolve disputes, get assistance with metering, or make necessary payment plans.

Representatives from Johannesburg Water, City Power, and the City of Johannesburg were all smiles as residents asked pressing questions. Region C Assistant Director, Shaun Govender, described the initiative as a way to bring the entities’ billing structures in sync with one another. Stressing a renewed commitment to customer service, Shaun said, “We want residents to know our centers are open and we are ready to resolve queries as efficiently as possible”.
