Wings of Inspiration celebrates Easter

‘Our aim was to treat all our beneficiaries to a lovely Good Friday filled with good company, sweet treats and laughter.’

On Friday, April 15 Wings of Inspiration beneficiaries received an egg-stra special visit from none other than the beloved Easter Bunny.

According to event organisers Anthea Da Costa and Gerda Bekker, they invited individuals from the Wings of Inspiration sober house, shelter, daycare, elderly care and frail care centres to join in the day’s fun and activities.

They got into the Easter spirit with a heartfelt Bible message followed by some singing, good food and of course some old-fashioned fun and games, including an Easter Egg Hunt, which has proven to be the highlight of the gathering.

“Our aim was to treat all our beneficiaries to a lovely Good Friday filled with good company, sweet treats and laughter. We wanted to show our love and support to all our beneficiaries on the West Rand,” Anthea said.

Recipients also welcomed the beautiful model Taylor Da Costa who joined their festivities at the elderly care centre in Randfontein.

“Taylor has taken up the Wings of Inspiration centres as her charity, and has been supporting us in various projects, for which we are truly grateful,” Anthea said.

“She has a passion for modelling and charity, and her faith in God has been her strength throughout her whole life. We are thankful that she chose to spend the day with us, spreading some positivity and encouragement,” Anthea said.

The Wings of Inspiration team would like to thank every person who contributed to yet another successful Easter get-together.
