Emergency workers thanked with Easter eggs

The Muldersdrift Fire Protection Association dropped off Easter eggs for police members who were on duty during the Easter weekend.

While many of us enjoyed the Easter weekend, several police officers were on duty keeping their communities safe. The Muldersdrift Fire Protection Association dropped off Easter eggs for police members that were on duty in the Muldersdrift community.

Ward councillor and member of the Muldersdrift FPA executive committee said delivering Easter eggs was an 18-year-old tradition. “This is done each year to show our appreciation for those police members as well as security and emergency personnel working to keep us safe whilst we are at home with our families enjoying Easter celebrations.

“Easter is a special time and these members leaving their families to serve and protect in our communities are greatly appreciated. We applaud their dedication and service.”

Councillor Cochrane said it was a privilege to bring Easter eggs to police officers each year and engage with them.
