CWSAR needs your help this Easter
Even though this magical creature is great at spreading joy, he needs the community's assistance.
On Saturday, April 9 the Easter Bunny will be paying a special visit to approximately 150 less fortunate children in the Tshepisong area, but he needs your help!
Even though this magical creature is great at spreading joy, he needs the community’s assistance to ensure he puts a smile on as many little faces as possible this Easter. This visit will form part of the Child Welfare South Africa Roodepoort’s (CWSAR) egg-citing Easter Drive.
According to CWSAR Director Estelle Odendaal they need Easter Eggs, sweets, snacks (chips, biscuits etc), viennas, rolls, drinks (such as water and cold drinks) and blankets.
“We really want to make it a day to remember for the little ones. We are mostly in need of bread rolls (for the hot dogs) and of course as many Easter eggs as possible. Anyone is welcome to join and celebrate with us on the day,” Estelle said.
Members of the community are welcome at the event on Saturday, April 9 around 09:30 at the Ikhwezi Outreach Centre, located at 5743 Khumalo Street (Phase 7) in Tshepisong.
