The Honeydew Urban Market was buzzing with activity on March 26. The quaint marketplace is hidden on Johan Road and offers visitors local artisan products including paintings, books and delicious treats.
Owner of the market, Michelle Hunter said the market picked up as regulations were eased. “A number of people have come to check us out and there has been a steady pick-up. All the products here are handmade, sourced locally or refurbished by the vendors themselves.”
One of the customers, Lynette Crosbie said, “Everything is lovely and I am really glad I came. There is a lot to look at.”
The market is open every day from Tuesday to Saturday between 09:00 and 15:00.
