The South Gauteng High Court is expected to deliver judgment on Friday following a lengthy trial against Shoba who is facing charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and obstruction of the administration of justice.

The former JSE analyst pleaded not guilty to all the charges brought against him. He was fingered by convicted killer, Muzikayise Malephane as being the one who hired him to kill his pregnant girlfriend in June 2020.

Malephane pleaded guilty and turned state witness last year. Sowetans together with members of the EFF have already started gathering outside the high court in Johannesburg calling for justice to be served against Shoba.

Almost two years after Tshegofatso was brutally killed, her family is hoping for the best possible outcomes as they wait in anticipation for the judge to make a decision.
