WATCH: Have you seen Mathew?

Family and friends are looking for 30-year-old Mathew Dippenaar who went missing on Friday, February 4.

Mathew has blue/ green eyes and light brown hair. He is at least 1,7m tall and has a small build.

He was last seen at Westgate Shopping Centre wearing a white shirt and grey pants. Some said he had a white sheet draped around him on the day he went missing. Even though he’s originally from Horison, Mathew frequents areas such as Witpoortjie, Helderkruin, Florida and other Roodepoort suburbs.

According to motorists he was seen near Witpoortjie and Helderkruin over the past two weeks.

“He is very bubbly and talkative. He likes to chat to people and dance in the roads. His mom hasn’t been doing very well since his disappearance. We’ve been asking at hospitals and police stations, but they haven’t seen him,” family friend, Soraya Upton said.

“He doesn’t have any identification on him and even though his mother gave him a phone, it might have become lost or stolen. Even if he visits someone somewhere in town, he always comes home after a day or two. But it has been almost two weeks now. We are very worried.”
