To ignite the passion on Valentine’s Day, which is Monday, February 14, Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden (WSNBG) will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Picnic under the stars.
Imagine the stars shining on a cool evening, and you and your loved ones relaxing under wide open skies while enjoying romantic ballads.
Make this a reality by joining couples and families at the WSNBG at 18:00 for a special romantic event at Jozi’s No1 outdoors venue.
Sounds from musical legends like Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, The Bee Gees, Julio Iglesias, Celine Dion and Marvin Gaye will take you through the journey of romance while having a fun outing with your loved ones.
The Valentine’s Day Picnic can also be a family outing to enjoy the serene outdoors with loved ones serenaded by soulful music.
Members of the community are advised to bring their picnic baskets and enjoy love music and the exquisite outdoors.
Adults will be charged the normal entrance price of R65, scholars R20 and children under six years will enter for free.
