Support Demi’s Bladder Fundraiser Market Day

Guests can look forward to snacks, food, jumping castles and a whole load of entertainment, to name just a few.

The Record recently reported on the 16-year- old Hoërskool Florida learner, Demi Schroder, who needs to undergo a crucial procedure for her overactive bladder.

After various tests, her urologist, Doctor Corné van Graan, suggested a last resort – an interstim sacral neuromodulation procedure. This is better known as a ‘bladder pacemaker’.

This procedure, comprising two phases, will cost Demi’s single mother around R170 000. Even though this driven teen is committed to helping where she can through managing her own small business and selling jewellery, she still needs all the help she can get.

That’s why she will be hosting a Fundraiser Market Day and invites all members of the community to come and support her cause. The event will take place on Saturday, February 12 at NG Kerk Constantiakruin in Constantia Kloof.

Guests can look forward to snacks, food, jumping castles and a whole load of entertainment, to name just a few.

The entry fees are as follows:
• Adults – R20
• Children under 18 – R10
• Children under 5 – Free

If you want to book a stall, it’s R150 per stall (no food stalls).

By remaining positive, Demi believes everything will work out as it should, and she is looking forward to being healthy again.
