Support group says no to drugs

Even though the weather threatened to end the march, the crowd stuck it out.

On Sunday, December 12, The Rhema Freedom in Christ Support Group hosted an Anti-Drug Campaign in Florida.

On this day residents were invited to join them as they march in agreement against drug addiction and substance abuse. Even though the weather threatened to end the march, the crowd stuck it out in an effort to make their voices heard.
“We are happy to announce that it was a successful event. The march was just filled with such peace, humility and unity. We are also grateful for the police who marched with us in support of this worthy cause,” Sylvester Sauls from the support group said.

At the end of the march Bowls of Goodness provided a generous 60 bowls of hope.

Sylvester went on to say that they caught the attention of various motorists and pedestrians when the group marched from the corner of Ruth Street and 5th Avenue to the corner of 2nd Avenue and Church Street.

“We managed to create a whole lot of awareness around the matter. We want to take Florida back and make it great again. That's why we want to host these marches as often as possible,” Sylvester concluded.
